Kathi Lopez, Head Coach
Kathi Lopez was a competition swimmer from the age of 5 through college at Edinboro University, which included swimming for both the Carlynton HS team and the Crafton Crocodiles. Until recently, you could see some of her HS records still on the record board at the pool! She was a lifeguard and swim lesson instructor for 10 years. Kathi was an assistant coach for the West Allegheny Aqua Club and the substitute coach for the Carlynton Aqua Club. Most recently, Kathi was the assistant coach of the Crafton Crocodiles. She and her husband Marco own and operate their DJ business, K&M Entertainment. Kathi resides in Crafton with her husband, mother, and four children. She is looking forward to the upcoming Wildcat season, and can’t wait to see everyone in the pool!!!
Erin Firestone, Assistant Coach
Swimming has been a huge part of Erin Firestone's life for many years. She first got into a pool when she was 6 months old and hasn't really stayed dry since! Erin swam competitively for 10 years. She swam both on a club and as part of her high school swim team. Teaching swimming has also been a passion of Erin's for the last 8 years. She has taught swimming to students ranging from babies to adults. "Swimming has definitely enriched my life in so many ways and I hope it will do the same for you!"
